Registrations for 2020
Players are invited to register online, to play with Grange Thistle Football Club.
(Players who have received letters of offer to play in an team after trials must still register within the FFA Online Registration System before competing in competitions).

Play Football Self Registration Portal
As a Participant looking to register for the up-coming Season, you will need to create an FFA Football Account.
If you were an active player in 2019 (U06 upwards) you have already created, or have a Football Account, please sign in.
If this is the first time you have used this new system, you will be required to create an account.
Please use the Orange "Register Online" Button to Register for the U6 through to Seniors at Grange Thistle.

NOTE: Fair Play Voucher Holders
Holders of the Fair Play Voucher need to contact the Club Manager to arrange a meeting at the Club in order to use these Vouchers as part of the registration. Currently the Play Football System does not cater for them.

Create a Football Account - (If you have never registered before)
Go to Football Federation Australia website: www.ffa.com.au/football-account
Click on “Join Now”
Select Create Account – Already have an account?
Login using your Email Address and Password:
(The Email address is the same email address used when you Created your Football Account)
Note: Football Accounts are separate to FFA numbers, therefore existing and new Participants will need a Football Account.
Registering to the Club
Registering to Grange Thistle Soccer Club Ltd.
After logging into your own Football account, Head to www.playfootball.com.au
Click on “Where can I Play?”
Select the age grouping icon the Participant fits
(As a Parent completing this process, select the icon that related to your oldest child. As a Coach, Manager, Volunteer, not playing, select any of the age groupings)
Search for a suburb, postcode or a Club
Select the Club
Club Details and Programs available for Participants are displayed
Select “Start My Registration”
Welcome to Play Football Online Registration, click on “Get Started”
Select the Participant you are Registering (Myself, Linked Person or New Person) and Continue (suggest doing Myself first).
Note: New Registrants will be linked to the Football Account Being used.
Select Club Type Club name in “Club” text box provided - this will be "Community"
Select Product (example: Junior U08 or Coach Junior U12-U16)
NOTE: Junior Academy, BYPL and Div 1 Products are only to be selected for players who have trialled and been offered positions in these squads. All other players must select the other age group Products (eg Junior U08 or Junior U15 Divisional 2-6)
Product details- add/change, and then click “Continue”

Update the Registrants personal and contact details, and then click “Continue”
Add the Profile Photo “Select Profile Image”,
Browse from your device, select the image, crop if necessary, and then click “Continue”
International Transfer Clearance – Answer question accordingly to proceed
Review your order, if you need to modify your product selection or details, select ’Modify’ in the appropriate section to do so
Acknowledging Terms and Conditions
Click on the ‘Check box’ Read and Acknowledge all Terms and Conditions by selecting Accept All T&C’s displayed and then click “Continue
Payment Options Screen
Input “Vouchers/Coupons codes”, and click “APPLY” All states excluding NSW will need to speak with their clubs directly regarding redemption of “sports vouchers”
Choose either “Pay Online”, or “Pay Offline” if offered, to complete the payment for your registration. You will receive an invoice to the email address listed on the registrants Registration
Confirmation message, select “finished” or “Perform another Registration”
General Club Information
In 2020, the Club requires all returning players to pay through the online system, which means that you will not need to visit the Club to register. Please also note that the 1.8% merchant transaction fee charged by the Play Football registration system will not be absorbed by the Club.
If you are a new player, you will still need to register and pay online, but you will also need to visit the Club to provide us with additional information (such as proof of identify). Please email to arrange this process.
Deadlines - If you wish to ensure a place on a junior team, players should be registered and financial by 7th February, 2020.
Registrations will still be accepted after this date, but only if there is a vacancy in the age group. Requests for allocations with friends may not be possible.
Senior player selection is undertaken by coaches in the pre-season period but early registration and payment is encouraged. Monies are fully refundable to any player not selected.
All other divisional teams, underneath the BYPL system, will only require grading if a surplus of players register for the same team. Details will be provided as required.
The football season will start the weekend commencing:
Friday 21 February 2020 for U13-U16 BYPL, Division 1 & Grading for all U12 Competitions;
Friday 6 March 2020 for U12 to U16 and U12 BYPL;
Saturday 7th March 2020 Grange Thistle Squirts and In-house U06 and U07 teams
Saturday 2nd May 2020 for U08 to U11 MiniRoos

Terms & Conditions
By registering with the Grange Thistle Soccer Club, the player or player's Parent or guardian (if player is under 18 years of age as at 1 January 2020) is becoming a Member of the Grange Thistle Soccer Club, and hence must comply with the constitution, rules and regulations of the Club and its governing associations.
For the benefit of clarity in relation to Club voting rights and membership, only one parent or guardian listed in their first junior player registration is deemed to have Full Membership of the Club, which is inclusive in this registration. Should the other parent or guardian also wish to become a Full Member of the Club, they will need to register separately as a Volunteer (Full Member) and pay the appropriate Fee. Alternatively, they may be listed as the second contact in My Football Club and will be automatically deemed an Associate Member which has no voting rights under the Club Constitution.
A player's registration cannot be activated until registration fees have been paid in full and, in the case where it is a junior player's first season with the Grange Thistle Soccer Club, the player's proof of age has been viewed by one of the Club's Board, Committee members or their nominated delegate. Divisional age players (U12 to U16) most also upload a suitable passport style photo for identification purposes in their FFA registration details.
If a player chooses to cancel their registration before the season commences, the Club will refund the registration fee paid (less up to $250 administration fee, determined on a case by case basis). There is no refund once the season commences or registration is closed.
