Registrations

Registration can only be performed via the online registration systems.

This is a 2-part process.

​

1. The National Body - Football Australia requires everyone to register to the Play Football System. It will open from the start of the calendar year.
Note: registering in Play Football does not mean you have a position at a Club. Only once you register in SQUADI and the Club approves the registration will a player have a position at the Club for the coming Season.

2. The Member Federation - Football Queensland requires everyone to register to the SQUADI System to compete in competitions in Queensland and It will generally open from early January. However, individual Clubs will only allow access to their products in SQUADI when they decide.

Grange Thistle will not open its SQUADI products to the General Public until members from the previous Season have had the opportunity to register. The decision on when the Club opens to new members depends on the Club, there is no set date.

HOW TO REGISTER

When you log into SQUADI, you will first be prompted by a pop-up link to complete your Football Australia; Play Football registration for the 2026 Season.

This first step is mandatory so please complete the following:

Follow the instructions provided, which will require you to:

​

1. Log into Play Football

2. Search for your Club

3. Select the appropriate National Registration Community, Academy or FQAL Football Product

   1. 2026 In-House Club Programs - Under 6-7​

   2. Coles Miniroos (4-11 years)

   3. Juniors (12-18 years)

   4. Seniors Divisional

   5. Northside Masters

4. Select the following If you have been offered a place in the Senior FQPL

   1. ​FQPL 1 Women/U23 Women​

   2. Senior FQPL 2 Men/U23s - Amateur Advanced

5. Self-complete your Play Football registration in full and make the payment required.
    

Once your Play Football registration is complete, you can then continue and complete your Football Queensland Competition access process in Squadi.
