Season Starts March 

 

Grange Thistle is looking for expressions of interest from new and existing players for the 2025 Season. 

 

Competitions covering Over 30 Women, Over 35 and Over 45 Men. Games are Friday nights running from mid-March until Finals in September with breaks for school holidays. 

 

A number of our player's coach junior teams with many being parents of young players within the Club. So, we cater for all standards of players.  However, this level of football is for those dedicated to the social side of the game. Come to enjoy it!

Games consist of 2 x 40-minute halves, with 10 minutes between halves. A referee is appointed to control each game (no assistant referees are used)

Grange Thistle has played in a few finals in the past few years of the competition. But no matter your shape or size, you'll be welcome to join in our Over teams at Grange Thistle.

Note: that there is INSURANCE COVERAGE supplied in this league. However it is not substantial and we strongly recommend you have your own health insurance and income protection insurance should an injury occur.

Registration is through SQUADI, and when registering players should understand that this is a semi contact sport and be aware of the risks this entails.  The only rule modification is no sliding tackles for player safety, and unlimited interchange, giving us all a breather when we need

Fees for 2025 will be announced soon but as an indication they were $400 per player in 2024. The Fees are to be paid in full or as agreed, in part of the SQUADI Payment Plan before being eligible to play in the competition.

To qualify you must be Over 30,35,45 or older by Dec 31 2024.
