The 2023 Season is fast approaching, and the schedule calendar is now available - see the Football Tab.

Due to the early start for many of the competitions, with grading and team nominations in February and Competitions starting in March, the Club needs to determine if we have team numbers that require trails or go straight to training.

While we wait for the Online Registration systems to open, would you please complete the following Expression of Interest to enable the Club to make contact with you and to schedule dates and times for trials and or training in January.

Let’s connect the Grange Thistle way! We are delighted to say we are FQPL in 2023 to provide an uninterrupted route to First Grade. We welcome expressions of interest from all local players, current players, and past players for both Grange Academy (U8-U12) and FQPL Development (U13-U18)

2023 Expression of Interest to Trial 

Academy Teams and FQPL Development Teams Only

All players will need to register online prior to participating in trials.

​

Please note, that trials will be held primarily to select players for the top team in each age division, and if the depth of ability is present, and the Club has the ability to accommodate it, a second-team squad.  Any others should register for teams at the Club when the FFA registration system opens in January.
 

Grange will submit teams to the Academy grading for U8-11 and will have teams in the Queensland Premier League\Divisional Leagues for all junior age groups. Grange will field all-girls teams in U12-U16 age groups.

All junior trials will be conducted by a mixture of coaches and directors and overseen by the Technical Director.

NOTE: Registration is vital as trials will be pre-organised with bibs and numbers.

Venue: Lanham Park, Grange

Note: Please arrive at least 15 minutes early, please be ready to train on time. All players must bring water and be wearing shin guards.
Sessions will be high tempo and demanding, so be prepared.
Placement in the 2023 squads is not guaranteed and all offers are on a merit-based system.
