Built in 1944 and nestled in the beautiful leafy suburb of The Grange, Brisbane is the Grange Bowls and Community Club. The characteristic of the club is the perfect event space for any occasion.

Bowls is a fantastically fun, low impact sport that can be played by practically anyone in the community, regardless of age, gender or physical ability. Whether you’re searching for a fun and friendly pass-time or an outlet for your inner competitor, bowls may be the sport for you.
By far the easiest way to get involved is to drop in at Grange Bowls Club on Thursday Afternoon. You will find our bowlers are friendly and quick to offer advice on playing the sport, while the club Bowls President - John will be happy to explain the basics, before taking you through your paces on the green.
The Grange Thistle Lawn Bowls Club operates from the premises of the Grange Bowls Club, Lanham Park, Grange. The Club is committed to the promotion of Lawn Bowls in North Brisbane.

We extend a warm welcome to both local residents and visitors from other accredited bowling clubs to join us for a social game of bowls.

Roll-ups are permitted providing members adhere to the current Health and Safety Procedures after registering.

Bowls
Bowling days are on Thursday (dress mufti) with the game commencing at 5:30pm (names by 4:45pm).

Saturday afternoon mixed bowls commence at 12:30pm (names by 11:00am).

Sunday morning mixed at 9:30am (names by 8:30am).
Twilight mixed games are held during Daylight saving, details from the Bowls Office.

Free coaching tuition can be provided at suitable times being negotiated with our accredited coaches.
Grange Thistle Bowls Club participates in pennant bowls, conducts internal championship events, holds Sports Days as well as various other tournaments.
Barefoot Bowls
Barefoot Bowls is popular for Christmas parties, birthdays, or even team-building sessions. Why not organise your friends and colleagues for a fun-filled outing of barefoot bowls followed by, if required, meals and refreshments in the Grange Thistle Bowls Club.
