Following an extensive search process, Grange Thistle is pleased to welcome Jack Sullivan on board as our Head of Junior Football (Technical Director) to help drive and deliver both our Academy and Community Football programs. Jack holds a FFA B-Licence and is striving towards his A-Licence accreditation.
Jack has experience as a Technical Director in a Tier 2 Club as well as exposure as an advisor in a Tier 1 Club (silver) in the planning and implementation strengths. He is highly experienced at progressing coaches through mentorship and support. In the last two years he has mentored 2 coaches into FQPL Head Coach roles and 4 female coaches through C License courses and into various head of academy, senior and community roles. He has also furthered development of male and female coaches on to their advanced coaching pathway and into progressed Head of Coaching roles.
Jack likewise has experience in large scale organisational implementation at the biggest participation Club in QLD (UQFC). He holds a Bachelor Degree in Communications, with highly proficient copywriting and administration skills. This will be of vital importance as we work through organisation, planning and creation of Club documentation. Finally, he is experienced in both senior and youth football, was a 2023 Coach of the Year nominee and a 2 times Coach of the month winner.
We've tasked Jack with helping to streamline our processes and systems to ensure that there are appropriate pathways in place between Community and Academy Football, and then from Juniors to Seniors. Over the coming weeks we will release to you our 'Strategic Football Plan' which outlines the framework for the club in moving forward.
