Grange Thistle Football Club is looking for Full Time Administration Support Officer (hours 35-38 hours per week but flexible for suitable candidate)

Your Background

This role will suit a highly motivated individual who enjoys working in a small team environment. To excel in this role, you will demonstrate:

  • Experience in working in the Football Industry (desirable);

  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal;

  • Exceptional attention to detail and time management skills;

  • Excellent problem-solving skills;

  • Strong data entry skills;

  • Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and confidentiality concerning financial matters and employee files;

  • Have a "can do" and "will do" attitude;

  • Above average computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office;

  • Administration or hospitality background highly desirable.

  • Creating engaging and informative content for Club members.

  • Creating content and continuously updating the Club’s website and social media platforms.

  • Creating a Club e-newsletter.

  • Build a sense of belonging between the Club and its followers.

  • Developing strong relationships with local media outlets to promote awareness of Club results – on and off-field.


  • Liaise with and answer enquiries from agencies, media, individuals and other organisations, often via telephone and email

  • Proof read and edit in-house posters, hand held memos, DLs, all marketing material in general in readiness for final production; ensuring all information provided to the staff is timely and accurate

  • Update and maintain internal and external sign content

  • Update and maintain schedule for the in-house Competitions

  • Proofread menus, contribute where you believe revenue can be driven

  • Liaise with the functions department on events or assist with coordinating setup ie. Menus.

  • Ensure all monthly marketing in-house is current and relevant in all departments

  • Ensure that all signage distributed to the club is in line with branding, is clear, concise and accurate

  • Any other reasonable duties and requests from the senior management team

  • Assist the finance department in administrative duties where required.

  • Timely and accurate coordination of administrative tasks

  • Ensure compliance registers are signed off on a weekly basis
